Jump2it! is our flagship performance festival for schools within Team Charnwood and gives children the opportunity to showcase their talent in a professional and non-competitive performance environment.

In March 2017 we will once again dance our hearts out and show the world what amazing dancers we have in Team Charnwood!

Primary schools can put forward ANY year group to participate and if successful in their application, schools will receive 4 workshops with their dance artist to create a piece for the festival.

This year’s theme is ‘Art’ and each group taking part will be allocated an artist or specific artwork as inspiration for their choreography.

Our performance (and dress rehearsal) will take place on Monday 27th March 2017 at a professional theatre venue in Charnwood.

Buses will be provided to transport the children to the venue on the day of the show.

Please note, in the first instance, applications will only be open to schools already members of Team Charnwood – speak to Aaron Asawla or Nicola Parker if you need clarification on this point.  Also, there will be  a fee for all schools taking part – please check the guidelines on the application form.

To see what previous festivals have been like, scroll down the page for photos and videos.

Excited?  We are!

To apply, fill in the application form here.  You will find the guidelines for the festival here too.

Deadline for applications: Friday 25th November 2016
